Parga

The beautiful town of Parga with its 2,500 inhabitants is located on the North West coast of Greece in an idyllic cove at the foot of the Epirus mountains. It is arguably one of the most beautiful places in Greece. In spring there is a wide variety of wild flowers and the landscape remains green throughout the year, including the dry summer months. Beneath the foothills of luscious pine forests and olive groves extends a coastline with many coves and long golden sandy beaches. High above Parga lies an impressive Venetian fortress with spectacular views of the coast with its numerous bays and small islands.

Parga is a thriving tourist town, offering a choice between a small pebble beach and the stunning long sandy Valtos beach across the other side of town, where you can enjoy uninterrupted views of the fortress. Valtos beach is also an ideal spot for children, as it has shallow waters.
